XM3000 UNIVERSAL HARDNESS TESTER

Universal motorized hardness tester

Designed to perform Rockwell, Superficial Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers Hardness tests embracing the essential comfort of a fully automatic test cycle.

In full compliance with international standard, including ISO 6506, ISO6507, ISO 4545, ASTM E10, ASTM E92, ASTM E384

From laboratory to production department tests

Our R&D department has designed XM3000 to measure all ferrous and non-ferrous, small and large materials even the most bulky.
But it is specialized in testing hardened, nitrided and cemented samples including heat treatment.

A majestic stability

Thanks to its universal configuration, XM3000 is perfectly suited to any working environment.

The force range – from 29.4 NA to 29.4 KN (from 3 to 3000 kgf) – can be easily set for measuring any size and geometry, from the simplest to the most complex sample.

Thanks to the wide movement of the head and the Axiotek locking system, even the largest samples will be firmly fastened so that to ensure you extreme safety in the execution of the test cycle. The indenter, whose stroke is of 380mm, will then reach the exact point where the indentation will be performed.

Designed for even the most extreme conditions

Testing semi-finished products in a productive environment is a tough job for even the most reliable hardness testers.

It is not easy to guarantee the repeatability of the results on samples whose surface is flexible, uneven or rounded.

Not to mention the dirt, oil and impurities that are placed between the object to be tested and the hardness tester support. These could easily compromise the final test result. Thus making the values inaccurate.

That’s why we patented the smart self-compensation system: a guarantee for a test cycle performed on non-flat or stable surfaces, especially in the presence of impurities.

No matter what type of semi-finished product you measure: the test cycle is reproducible with reliable results from the very first use.

Hardware and software built around you

The software can be configured to guarantee an even wider universality of tests through the execution of cementing tests (CHD – Hardness Depth Case).

The large base is easily configurable according to your needs: you can use any type of anvil and support you prefer, interchangeable at your convenience.

From flat anvils and V-shaped anvils to the installation of motorized XY tables designed to move samples whose weight is of 3 tons.
