XM70 Vickers hardness tester

AUTOMATION THAT SPOILS YOU //OPTIMIZE YOUR TIME AND PRODUCTIVITY WITH XM70

XM70 gives you unparalleled speed and productivity when performing Vickers tests. In this respect, it’s the representation of the so-called “Pareto principle”: it is possible to do 80% of the work in 20% of the time.

Some examples? Multi-position rotating turret and motorized measuring head with autofocus for fully automatic test cycles. Panoramic lens and additional camera for ultra-fast image capture. Motorized XY table driven by “autopilot”, for automated multiple Vickers tests without lifting a finger.

So that while the instrument is working you can do something else. Here’s how we want to make sure that you get the most out of that 20% of your time.

SAFETY FIRST //NEVER LEAVE ANYTHING TO CHANCE. YOUR WORK DESERVES ATTENTION

Use XM70 to fully explore your samples with Vickers, Brinell and Knoop tests. We’ll take care of the rest. Like your safety: we’ve thought of everything here.

Like the dynamic anti-collision system for assisted emergency stop, the protection of the “retractable” lenses inside the measuring head, or the load cells with Closed Loop control.

Not to mention software security, with the ability of having users with different levels of access to the settings.

MADE IN ITALY //WE STUDY AND DESIGN TECHNOLOGICALLY INNOVATIVE AND INTERACTIVE INSTRUMENTS

XM70 is a hardness tester for Vickers, Brinell and Knoop tests completely conceived, designed and manufactured in Italy by highly qualified technicians.

For us, certifying our made in Italy means providing quality, reliability, creativity and empathy. Because technology not focussed on human interactivity is wasted technology.

READY FOR USE //LET'S NOT WASTE TIME. START USING YOUR XM70 VICKERS HARDNESS TESTER NOW

Years of experience gained working with leading companies in our technological and engineering world have allowed us to refine our skills and put all our know-how at your disposal.

That’s why we love to create turnkey hardness testers without precluding any freedom of customization. Simply ready to use and operational. Without wasting time and effort on time-consuming configuration processes.

We have created three versions of the XM70 Vickers hardness tester in order to emphasize immediacy of use on each instrument of the range.

FREEDOM OF CUSTOMIZATION //WE MAKE YOUR WORK SIMPLE AND FAST WITH TARGETED CUSTOMIZATIONS AND IMMEDIACY OF USE

But how can “ready for use” and “customisation freedom” coexist? Isn’t that a contradiction? Not really.

A few years ago, one of our customers needed to perform Vickers tests on extremely thin specimens: metal pins. We supplemented the standard version of the hardness tester that best suited their needs with a piece of equipment specially developed to make Vickers tests possible on their “special” samples.

The customer therefore benefited from saving both time and energy: not only there was no need for them to configure the entire machine with lenses, indenters and other accessories, but they also directly received the solution for their specific needs. This is because at Axiotek we are both designers and manufacturers of our measuring instruments. We don’t have to rely to anyone else for their customisation.
